Businesses of all kind are coming to Jean-Talon and Maisonneuve for the 2024 summer season ! These daily space can be rented from May to October. They welcome farmers and agri-food processors wishing to market at one of Montreal’s public markets on a temporary basis. This initiative meets the needs of smaller companies, as well as those wishing to integrate direct marketing into their business model. By adapting to the realities of these businesses, more companies can afford to access Montreal’s major public markets.

We’re very grateful and excited to be able to be part of the vendors at the Jean-Talon Market. This will help us showcase our farm and give people a chance to taste the wonderful products of our Lanaudière region. The daily space kiosk are an ideal, low-cost opportunity for us. We can’t wait for the summer season to begin, and to meet all the foodies and fresh food enthusiasts in Montreal!

Two enthusiasts of organic market gardening acquired a plot of land in Lavaltrie, 30 minutes north of Montreal, to grow around 40 varieties of vegetables. Their range includes eggplant, garlic, beets, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers and much more. With a decade of experience on well-known farms, they’re ready for this new chapter.

This organic garden farm nestled in the Charlevoix mountains will be at Jean-Talon Market with their fire vinegar, ApothicAri, an organic, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar in which several ingredients such as ginger, garlic, horseradish, turmeric, onion, herbs and cayenne pepper are macerated. This is an artisanal product whose ingredients are mostly grown on their farm.
