During Québec’s public markets week, which celebrates Québec’s agricultural products and the people that produce them, Montréal’s Public Markets are getting ready to celebrate harvest time.
This year come, and enjoy the Grande Épluchette des Marchés, a mega-corn boil, the weekend of August 19 and 20. Sit yourself down at the table to partake in a harvest meal featuring fruits and vegetables from Québec, in a convivial and festive atmosphere. On the menu, a complete meal* inspired by Québec’s harvest, musical entertainment, games and free face painting for the kids.

On the west side of Jean Talon Market, at Place Casgrain, between the SAQ and Première Moisson, under the tents, and in Place Shamrock.
The following activities will also take place during the Grande Épluchette:
• The beekeepers and the owners of Rucher Apis will be present in the Allée Vert of the market with a demonstration beehive, so that you can learn about the life of the hive and the bees, and about organic and environmentally-friendly beekeeping (from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
