Foire des vins et cidres d'ici - August 13th
Jean-Talon Market is organizing its first ever Foire des vins et cidres d’ici in collaboration with the Conseil des Vins du Québec and Cidre du Québec on Saturday, August 13.
This event is a must for Québec wine and cider enthusiasts and the perfect opportunity to stock up on exclusive vintages, meet these talented producers and learn more about the making of the products that have made our terroir’s reputation.
More than fifteen producers, both emerging and established, will be on hand to sell and let you taste their products.
In addition to discovering the exhibitors, visitors will be able to attend a series of free lectures on wine and cider given by industry professionals. The lectures will be hosted by Geneviève Vézina-Montplaisir, co-publisher and co-editor of Caribou magazine.
*** Free admission ***
All exhibitors will be in the Event zone, in the north section of the market.
Lectures will be held on the mezzanine of the Jean-Talon Market and will be in French.
The SAQ will also be offering Québec wine tastings in front of the branch on Place Shamrock starting at 1 p.m.
