In the scope of the 18th edition of Montréal en Lumière and Montréal’s 375th anniversary, Jean-Talon Market will celebrate the Montréal region with a weekend of free gourmet activities on February 25 and 26. Read on to find out more about Savourez Montréal!
– Saturday February 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.:
Mandoline room: Four culinary demonstration workshops, hosted by chef Bobby Grégoire and invited companies, will take place at Jean-Talon Market in the Mandoline room, on the second floor. Tastings of prepared dishes are on the menu. Come and discover delicious gourmet recipes, featuring local foods. Discover the complete schedule of workshops.
Mezzanine: Fourteen Montréal businesses from the agro-food industry (processors, producers, organizations) will be present at the mezzanine of the market to showcase their products. A variety of tastings and discoveries will be featured: urban honey, hot sauce, kombucha and more! You’ll also have a chance to learn more about beekeeping, urban agriculture and Montréal’s dynamic bio-food industry.
– Sunday, February 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
Take the gourmet trail of free tastings to discover the products from Montréal on offer at the various merchants in Jean-Talon Market. Stay tuned for the complete list of participating merchants and the products you’ll be able to taste.
