Since 1980, Jacques & Diane Farm is at Jean-Talon Market as an agricultural producer, from May to late October. Their specialties: beets, carrots, radishes, tomatoes and eggplant.
Fresh herbs plants are perfects for your garden or your balcony. Depending the merchant, you will find plants of: basil, coriander, curry, chives, eucalyptus, Moroccan mint, spearmint, oregano, rosemary, savory, stevia, thyme... Used it to flavor a flat or to make tea!
Fresh garlic is usually available in our markets around Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, at the end of June. Garlic is a fresh product, easy to digest. To preserve its aroma and crunchiness, add it at the end of cooking or food preparation. Never put garlic in the fridge, instead, leave it out in a dry place.
