Culinary workshops for the little ones

Jean-Talon Market is inviting little chefs aged 3 and over to cook together with their families at a free culinary workshop.
Your ticket will give you priority access to the workshop. We recommend that you arrive early to make sure you get in. If you haven’t been able to book your ticket and you’re coming to the market, come and see us in the events zone – we’re keeping a few places available.
RECIPE OF THE MONTH: Summer salsa skewers with gazpacho sauce
With this recipe, young chefs will explore two ways of enjoying the same ingredients: in a salad and on skewers! They'll extend their taste exploration by transforming gazpacho, the famous cold Andalusian soup, into a colorful sauce.
The activity will be held on the market mezzanine and is aimed at little chefs aged 3 and over. All children are welcome. Don't hesitate to let C'est moi le chef! know about your child's particular needs.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to confirm your participation. Tickets not confirmed 5 minutes before the start of the workshops will be offered to market visitors.
Where will the workshop take place?
To get to the workshop, go to the event area northwest of the market, under one of the open-air marquees. For Google maps, click here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/r8NZu3WNmnJwTLNq6.
The workshops are offered entirely free of charge by Marché Jean-Talon, the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec and Desjardins.
