Urban Agriculture Workshop: Help Bloom the Neighbourhood with Seed Balls
The Jean-Talon Market invites you to join a free workshop to brighten up the neighborhood with seed balls!
In this workshop led by Chloé from Jardin de la Devinette, you’ll learn how to make seed balls, traditionally known as “seed bombs.”
Come learn more about the history of this “peaceful ammunition” designed to green vacant urban spaces, and about the varieties of flowers that can be propagated to support biodiversity.
Three 45-minute sessions are offered:
- 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
- 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
All materials are included!
Just bring your motivation to get your hands a little dirty.
Where will the workshop take place?
To get to the workshop, go to the event area north-west of the market, under one of the open-air marquees. For Google maps, click here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/r8NZu3WNmnJwTLNq6.

The event is made possible with the support of the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough!
