Give the apero as a gift

Why not give the aperitif as a gift? This holiday season, we’re suggesting two delicious apéro platters featuring fresh produce from your local merchants. Whether it’s a selection of cheeses, local charcuterie or a bottle of wine accompanied by delicious jams, the aperitif can be a real gift to enjoy together.

Here’s a suggested composition for a cheese platter
  • Le Zacharie Cloutier – Prix Caseus Or 2023
  • Le Bergeron – Gouda with Cumin (lactose-free)
  • Le Douanier – half-firm cheese
  • Goat’s cheese
  • Accompanied by quince paste, onion confit, homemade spiced apple butter and mixed nuts.
  • Add a baguette and crackers for a delicious treat. You can make sauces and jams with the used cranberries and ground cherries for a festive touch!

Here’s a suggestion for a Mezze platter

For this platter, we were inspired by the book À la table d’Adelle by Filles Fattoush, which you can find at Librairie Gourmande.

  • Pita chips and fresh pita
  • Zaatar spice blend
  • Goat’s cheese or feta with herbs
  • Mouhamara de Damas recipe with Tahini (p.146 of À la table d’Adelle)
  • Grilled Halloumi cheese & bell pepper tapenade
  • Labneh with olives and walnuts
  • Fresh vegetables from your market gardeners

Enjoy your meal!
