« There is a unique sense of kinship among the businesses here. I have locations on commercial arteries and I’ve noticed a clear difference. Here, we have a much closer relationship with our customers. » (Richard Lachapelle, Havre-aux-glaces, Atwater and Jalon-Talon markets)
« There’s no better place than the market for selling our products. We can offer unique artisanal items to customers who know exactly where their food came from. It’s a hub for the short-distance food circuit and a great showcase for producers. » ( Daniel Joseph, Balkani – Jean-Talon Market)
« I recognized the potential of Maisonneuve Market 17 years ago. It is very well located in an up-and-coming residential area, which means there is a lot of foot traffic and a wonderful loyal clientele. »
(Daniel Jodoin, Boucherie Maisonneuve, Maisonneuve Market)
« Since opening in 2004, I’ve tripled the size of my store. In the market, we’re one big family. Customers notice that and they love it. » (Christian Servant, Les Délices de la mer, Jean-Talon Market)
