Oktoberfest at Atwater Market

Oktoberfest au Marché Atwater

The Atwater Market, in collaboration with SDC Les Quartiers du Canal, invites you to its fourth Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.! Throughout the weekend, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy affordable beer, delicious food, and a festive musical atmosphere.

The event promises to be the ideal gathering for beer lovers in the southwest of the city, with free programming for young and old alike. On the agenda: contests, fun games and, for children, there will be inflatable games, face painting, and pumpkin decorating workshops.

Come raise a glass at the market and celebrate local microbreweries!

Admission to the site is free, and tasting glasses or beer mugs will be available at the event ticket office at a cost of $3.50 for a glass or $7 for a mug. Microbreweries will offer a uniform price for tastings at $4 for 5 oz, $7 for 10 oz, and $9 for 14 oz (card payment only).

Over 100 local beers to taste

Fifteen microbreweries will be present to showcase their wide selection of local and craft beers.

Influenced by the local terroir and hops, you can discover what makes each beer unique by tasting it on site, purchasing bottles to enjoy at home, or chatting with the microbrewers.  You will also be able to purchase some of your favorite bottles at the Fromagerie Atwater, a specialty shop located in the market.

Pilsners, India Pale Ales, Stouts, Lagers, Porters and non-alcoholic beer —there will be something for everyone.

For the second year in a row, the SDC Les Quartiers du Canal is also setting up its terrace in the event area. You'll find fun games and contests with several prizes to be won.
