Oktoberfest at Jean-Talon Market

Marché Jean-Talon invites you to its second Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6, from 11am to 7pm! All day long, you'll have the opportunity to discover over 100 craft beers, eat great food and enjoy a festive musical atmosphere.
On the program: beer-tasting workshops, delicious food and beers to discover!
The event is free, and tasting glasses will be available at the event box office for $3.50. Microbreweries will be offering a flat rate for tastings at $4 for 5 oz and $7 for 10 oz (payment by card only).
Beer tasting workshop
To mark Oktoberfest at Jean-Talon Market, we're offering a guided tasting workshop to help you learn more about this beverage and its typical pairings.
During the hour-long workshop, you'll taste 4 beers paired with 3 local cheeses. The workshop will be led by Yan Lortie, a beer sommelier active since 2014 whose areas of expertise include analytical tasting, beer styles, the art of serving and food and beer pairings.
