Urban Agriculture Workshop: Discover Edible Flowers

The Jean-Talon Market invites you to join a free workshop to discover edible flowers! 

In this workshop led by Chloé from Jardin de la Devinette, that the flowers play several essential roles in the vegetable garden: they add color, attract pollinators, and can even be enjoyed as food. This workshop offers an introduction to some of the most popular edible flowers and their uses. Participants will learn the basics of transplanting and will take home their own flowering planter, ready to grow at home.

Included: Pots, edible flower seedlings, and potting soil.

Three 45-minute sessions are offered: 

  • 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
  • 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

All materials are included! 

Just bring your motivation to get your hands a little dirty.
