Urban agriculture workshop: discover summer seedlings

Urban agriculture workshop: discover edible flowers

Marché Jean-Talon invites you to take part in a free workshop on Sunday August 3 at 1, 2 or 3 pm.

During this workshop, led by Chloé from Jardin de la Devinette, you'll discover which vegetables and herbs to sow in August to extend your vegetable season.

Did you know that there's still time to do some planting? In bio-intensive market gardening, we replace the first generation of plants with a second (and sometimes several others) to prolong harvests.

Three 45-minute sessions are offered:

  • 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
  • 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

All materials are included: a pot, potting soil, Quebec organic seeds, tools.

Just bring your motivation to get your hands a little dirty.

Where will the workshop take place?

To get to the workshop, go to the event area north-west of the market, under one of the open-air marquees. For Google maps, click here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/r8NZu3WNmnJwTLNq6.
