In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and serve immediately with tortilla chips or grilled pita.
Note: If the salsa is prepared in advance, mix all ingredients together, except the strawberries and lime juice. Add them when you are ready to eat.
Variation: Instead of French shallot, you can use a little chopped red onion.
Tip: This salsa is also great as a garnish or served with grilled fish.
