Apple Pie

An unmissable classic
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 apples
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and lemon zest
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Prepare the apples by cutting them into thin slices.
- Arrange the fruit in the pastry, sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg, and dot with a few knobs of butter.
- Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of cold water.
- Brush the pastry with the whipped egg white.
- Place in the oven and bake for around 35 minutes.
