Grandma’s Classic Cranberry Sauce

Here's our cranberry sauce recipe for the festive season. A family classic passed down from generation to generation at the market!
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Preparation
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar in the water. Simmer for a few minutes until the syrup thickens slightly.
- Add the cranberries and cook until they burst (about 10 minutes).
- Remove from the heat and pour into a dish. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
