Strawberry and rhubarb "tiramisu"

A delicious recipe made with two Québec fresh products. Enjoy its refreshing taste.

Ingredients

  • 4 stalks of rhubarb
  • 150 to 225 g of sugar, to taste
  • 1 basket of Québec strawberries
  • 475 g of mascarpone cheese
  • 16 of ladyfingers

Preparation

  1. Slice rhubarb, place in a bowl and sprinkle with half the sugar. Leave for 30 minutes then drain it.
  2. In a saucepan, place rhubarb, strawberries and add the remaining sugar.
  3. Cook for about 20 minutes. Réserver.
  4. Beat the cheese with a fork.
  5. In a dessert cup, alternate layers of rhubarb and strawberry compote, a ladyfinger split in half, finishing with cheese. Repeat this one more time.
  6. Refrigerate
