Holiday season at Jean-Talon Market
The magic of the holiday season is taking over Jean-Talon Market, and now’s the time to enjoy it!
Join us on December 7 & 8 and December 14 & 15 for two festive weekends of indoor and outdoor fun. On the program: a gourmet terrace with raclette and refreshments, a meeting with Santa Claus, creative workshops to create your own tree ornaments, a cooking workshop for little chefs, musical performances, and even an outdoor obstacle course!
Our tree merchants and a life-size game are also set up at the market throughout December.
The Jean-Talon Market gets into holiday mode with a brand new gourmet terrace!
Come and enjoy our gourmet terrace, open from 11am to 5pm on the weekends of December 7 & 8 and 14 & 15. We’ll be serving up a comforting menu perfect for those cold winter days: delicious raclette sandwiches with melting cheese, and a refreshment bar with hot chocolate and mulled wine. It’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself while enjoying the music of a Christmas choir, a singer or a DJ.
Menu :
The gourmet terrace is organized by the Jean-Talon Market in collaboration with Bar Bello.
Fans of holiday music will be delighted by the musical performances of our local artists and choirs. Sit back and enjoy their performances on the gourmet terrace.
Reindeer Quest returns to Jean-Talon Market for a second year! From December 1 to 23, head to the gourmet terrace to begin this life-size rally on your own. The route, with nine riddles to solve, is fun for the whole family.
This year, Santa’s reindeer have a special mission! Each reindeer has its own mini-game to get ready for the big Christmas night. Can you help them meet the challenges of their magical tour? Santa is counting on you to guide his team!
A draw on December 23 will give one participant per market the chance to win a $100 gift certificate from Marchés publics de Montréal.
In November, Jean-Talon Market will once again be home to its famous tree merchants! With stalls stocked with Beaumier, Fraser and Sauvageon trees, as well as wreaths and other natural decorations, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
