A look back at the Harvest Festival at Jean-Talon Market

On September 6 and 7, 2025, the Harvest Festival took place at Jean-Talon Market, a large free celebration for the whole family that celebrated agricultural producers and the generosity of local harvests.
Throughout the weekend, hands-on workshops were held in the Panorama Venue. At the same time, cooking demonstrations were presented in the event area, in addition to inflatable games, face painting for children, and a corn roast. New this year, the market also hosted two major cooking competitions: the best pie and the best tomato sauce from businesses in Little Italy.
Thank you again to all the event hosts:
- Antoine Gélinais from Marché des Saveurs du Québec for his workshop on maple shortcake-style doughnuts
- Robert Paradis and Isabelle Dupuy from Ferment for their introduction to fermentation
- Davide Bazzali from Il Bazzali for his workshop on roasted vegetable ravioli
- Chef Oussama Ben Tanfous for his cooking demonstration
