Tips and tricks

Rhubarb—what a delicious treat! Baked in a pie, made into jam, or even in a salsa, we love it! Did you know that you can also use the leaves?

Not to eat, of course—attention, they’re toxic! But you can use the leaves as a natural insecticide to get rid of ants, aphids and caterpillars in the garden.

Preparation
  1. Place the rhubarb leaves in 20 litres of water overnight.
  2. The next day, use the water to spray on your plants.
