Cajun Nuts

Ingredients

  • 500 g raw nuts (a mix of you what you like)
  • 45 ml olive oil
  • 12 ml paprika
  • 5 ml ground cumin
  • 5 ml thyme
  • 10 ml dehydrated onion
  • 10 ml dehydrated garlic
  • 5 ml oregano
  • 5 ml black pepper
  • 5 ml Cayenne pepper
  • 7 ml salt
  • 2 ml citric acid or 30 ml lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. Mix paprika, cumin, thyme, deshydrated onion and garlic, oregano, black pepper, Cayenne pepper, salt and citric acid or lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Add the nuts and olive oil.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the nuts on the baking sheet. Bake for about 30-35 minutes.
