    Home-made Vanilla Extract, Sauces et condiments
  • A little gourmet home-made gift very simple to do!

    Ingredients

    Home-made Vanilla Extract:

    • 6 vanilla beans, sliced in half lengthwise
    • Dark rum or vodka (to taste, depending on the size of the container used)

    Preparation

    Home-made Vanilla Extract:

    1. Place the vanilla beans in a glass container.
    2. Add enough dark rum or vodka to cover ¾ of the vanilla beans.
    3. Let it infuse for 2 to 3 months in a dark place.
    4. Add to your favourite desserts for a touch of vanilla!
