Raspberry and Basil Jam

Raspberry and Basil Jam, Sauces et condiments
  • Total time : 15 min.
  • Makes one 250 mL jar.
  • Discover our special recipes for the berry season! Tasty and easy to realize, they will make you fully enjoy the strawberries, raspberries and blueberries from Québec.


    • 500 mL fresh raspberries (2 cups)
    • 125 mL sugar (1/2 cup)
    • Zest of 1/2 lemon
    • 15 mL lemon juice (1 tbsp.)
    • 5 basil leaves, finely chopped


    1. Bring all the ingredients to boil in a pot.
    2. Boil for 10 minutes until the mixture starts to gel slightly.
    3. After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and add the basil. Blend with a hand blender until fairly smooth.
    4. Pour into a sterilized 250 mL jar.
