Foire des vins et cidres d'ici at Jean-Talon Market

The Local Wine and Cider Fair (Foire des vins et cidres d'ici) awaits you at Jean-Talon Market on Saturday, August 9, and Sunday, August 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. This festive event will be the perfect opportunity to taste a wide variety of wines and ciders at affordable prices, stock up on your favorite bottles, and enjoy a festive aperitif in the heart of the market. Come celebrate the wine and cider producers of our regions!
Admission to the event is free, and tasting glasses are available for $3.50. Tastings cost between $1 and $5, at the discretion of the wineries and cideries.
New this year, to enjoy with a full stomach, we invite you to stroll through the aisles of the Jean-Talon Market to create your own aperitif platter with products from the merchants! The gourmet circuit will allow you to create a customized platter with fine cheeses, artisanal sausages, macarons or fresh oysters.

Musical atmosphere
Attend a performance by the Abaigar Quartet, a gypsy jazz ensemble consisting of a guitarist, a double bassist and a vocalist. DJs will be present in the afternoon.

Come taste affordable ciders and wines and buy your favorite bottles directly from local wineries and cider houses.

For its fourth edition, the Local Wine and Cider Fair at Jean-Talon Market will welcome vineyards and cideries from different regions of Quebec. Rosé, sparkling, still, and fiery ciders, as well as red, white, rosé, and orange wines await you.

Gourmet Circuit
What is the Gourmet Circuit? The circuit invites you to visit four businesses at Jean-Talon Market so you can create your own platter of small bites. The businesses offer exclusive discounts or personalized appetizer platters throughout the event.
How does it work? Visit the participating businesses at your convenience and create your own gourmet selection.
The goal? You'll have a personalized platter to accompany the wines and ciders at the fair and try new pairings.
Which companies are participating? The gourmet circuit includes stops at: Qui lait cru !?!, Les Cochons tout ronds, La Ferme des Quatre-Temps, La Boîte aux Huîtres, Première Moisson, Le Marché des Saveurs du Québec, Porcmeilleur and Balkani.

Discover the three most popular sausages: petit ménage, strolghino, and fennel, with a special bag of pre-sliced sausages. 100 grams for $7 during the event.

La boîte aux Huîtres
During the event, come and enjoy a platter of eight 100% Canadian oysters, grilled on site with a house blend of butter and spices! $5 discount offered.
🍷 Dry, mineral white wine

Première Moisson
For those with a sweet tooth, try the mini sweet box filled with vanilla and chocolate macarons, madeleines, and a slice of almond tart with Quebec blueberries. Price: $8.95 + tax.

La Ferme des Quatre temps
Come try the farmhouse charcuterie platter for two. The assortment includes four charcuterie items/pâtés and pickles for $20.
