Filming authorization

We appreciate your interest in Montreal’s Public Markets. Thank you for choosing us as a location for filming.

Note that a standard administrative delay of ten (10) days must be considered due to the large number of applications received, particularly in the summer. Please take this into account when planning and scheduling your film project.

Authorization to film is granted according to the following conditions:

1. Shoulder cameras only
2. No lighting
3. Request permission from the merchant prior to filming in his/her stall or near his/her stand
4. Respect the merchants' selling space and do not prevent or hinder free movement of their clients in front of or around their stalls or stands
5. The MPM would appreciate receiving a copy of the final filmed product or content (film, recording, show/program, or report)

You must provide us with a cell phone number for one person who will be present while filming takes place. In the event of a complaint from a merchant, we will interrupt your filming activities and you will be asked to leave the premises. Thank you for your cooperation.
