On Sunday, October 8, 2023, the first edition of Oktoberfest took place at Marché Jean-Talon. Following the success of the event at Atwater Market, Montreal’s Public Markets decided to bring the event to Jean-Talon Market, much to the delight of brewery enthusiasts. Here’s a look back at the day in pictures!

The Oktoberfest featured nearly 100 craft beers presented in a festive musical atmosphere, as well as delicious dishes from our restaurateurs, a selection of beer-related books from Librairie Gourmande and tasting workshops hosted by Marché des Saveurs du Québec.

Exceptionally, due to inclement weather, the event was moved to the mezzanine of the Jean-Talon Market, allowing customers to feast in the dry and giving them an unobstructed view of the market!
